Some of our clients simply want a builder they can trust to help them tender and build their designs. At MNL Projects we pride ourselves on being able to obtain the sharpest pricing with the most professional and industry leading consultant and subcontracting base.

We will help you with this process reviewing the drawings with your consultants, detail the scope of works, tender and negotiate with the market to obtain true Lump Sum trade quotes.

Once the tendering is complete, we will sit with our clients, review the quotes and agree what the overall project duration and cost should be.

Once we agree, we partner in the project and deliver on our promise.
Design and Construct

Design and Construct

This is where MNL Projects can assist the most. Early engagement with the design consultants and clients, we can set a clear benchmark from commencement. Constructability and efficiency can be at the forefront.

During the design we involve our partnership subcontracting groups to provide input into the development to ensure the best possible outcome during project execution. Early engagement with our subcontractors is critical to obtaining sharpest subcontractor market pricing and confirming the availability of the trades prior to the design being finalised.

The design must be completed to a level of detail that gives the subcontractors comfort in locking in their Lump Sum quotations. Any earlier will create pricing fluctuations and ambiguity in the subcontract agreements.

Similar to the construct only process, once the quotations are received, we will sit with our clients, present the quotations and agree the project overall cost through a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Agreement. We then agree the project construction duration with ultimate focus on a realistic and achievable timeline.

Next stage is to partner in the development and make good on our promises.
Early Market Engagement

Early Market Engagement

MNL Projects is available to assist with clients from concept stage as a design and construct consultant. Engaging the broader consultant group early with the constructability, efficiency and value engineering.

This can streamline the design process, the DA Process and assist early engagement with the subcontracting groups to obtain competitive and realistic rates for the build.

Our experience is that if this process is missed, the design changes can be extensive. A very lengthy DA amendment process could be needed placing risk on the project delivery timeline and not to mention the redrafting and design coordination.

MNL Projects can lead the design, develop the programme, early tender to subcontractors and generate a quotation backed cost plan.

By doing this early gives our clients the edge prior to engaging with the broader 3rd party construction market. Knowledge is key, and engaging MNL Projects on an EME Agreement will give our clients a clear path forward.

Mitchel has over 20 years' experience in the construction industry working predominantly in the residential and commercial sectors. He has delivered a multitude of high-rise apartment complexes and commercial towers for construction companies and developers including Morris Property Group and Hutchinson Builders.

Mitchel possesses strong leadership skills with the ability to problem solve, delegate and effectively operate in high pressure environments with time constraints.

His genuine and heartfelt approach has developed long lasting working relationships within the construction industry. He understands the importance of operating in a transparent and honest manner and displays these traits to stakeholders of all levels.

Mitchel is Open Licensed in QLD and carries a Class A License in the ACT. We can deliver any scale or class of building on the Eastern Seaboard.
